The School was founded at the beginning of the nineties, basing on the comparison with the European context, during a time of deep change of Italian University system, both in terms of objectives and teaching models. During its recent tradition, it has wrestled immediately with the need to reconcile widespread formation and excellence training and to combine a consolidated five degrees path in Architecture with also triennial courses, good to ensure a rapid placement into the job world.

These new models have been declined according to the two parallel souls of Architecture and Industrial Design, in close connection with the reality in which the Second Neapolitan university works.
